1st David’s Locker at Phoenix Children’s Hospital

WHAT: David’s Locker
The Johnsons will be opening their first David’s Locker. This cart will provide patients and their family members access to electronics during hospital stays. It serves as a source of entertainment, a portal for communication and a diversion during treatment and recovery.
WHEN: Wednesday, April 18, 2018
1:15 PM to 2:15 p.m., Media Check-in at 1:15 p.m. (see details below), Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony 1:30-2:00 p.m. Media interviews 2:00-2:15 p.m.

HOW: Check-in Directions
Park in the garage on Thomas Road and enter through the main lobby. All media must check-in at the front desk and sign-in. Must obtain a visitor badge and wait in the lobby until escorted by a PCH communications staff member to The Child Life Zone. We do not allow photography or videography in our lobby, hallways or in front of PCH without the approval or presence of a PCH communications staff member for patient safety.
All kids wearing a red heart sticker while in the Zone are not allowed to be on-camera or blurred out of a shot.
